Dissolution of Marriage
Court properly granted husband's motion to bifurcate judgment for dissolution of marriage. Petitioner had alleged in his motion that bifurcation was warranted because delays in resolving issue of dissolution were caused by wife repeatedly changing counsel and interfering with husband's parenting time, and delays were detrimental to the two children's best interests. As court granted motion to bifurcate on basis of best interest of children, which grounds were raised in the motion, court did not abuse its discretion or violate wife's due process rights in bifurcating judgment of dissolution.(LAVIN and PUCINSKI, concurring.)
