Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Child Support
The appellate court considered the question of whether a modification of child support may be warranted where the obligor parent experiences a substantial growth in income so that the children now enjoy a much higher standard of living with him than they do when they are with the obligee parent. The appellate court held that, under the facts of the case, the circuit court erred by finding that there was no substantial change in circumstances and reversed and remanded for further proceedings.
