Thursday morning Governor JB Pritzker signed a new law into effect amending the Illinois Consumers Fraud Act to include crisis pregnancy centers. Under the new law, officially named the Deceptive Practices of Limited Services Pregnancy Centers Act, centers are barred from giving false or misleading information about abortion services and emergency contraception.
