Holiday Greetings from John, Terry, Katie and Caroline Thies

This is such a wonderful time of year in our family. We observe holiday traditions that go back generations, spend more time with family and friends, and place extra focus on giving thanks for our many blessings. We also look for opportunities to extend the joy of the season to those around us.

During this particular holiday season, we are joining with lawyers and judges around the state in preparation for a campaign that, in a very tangible way, will send a message of peace and goodwill to those in our state who are food "insecure." The project is called Lawyers Feeding Illinois, and involves a two-week campaign at the end of February 2013, during which the ISBA is asking members of our profession to collect food and funds for the benefit of our state's eight regional food banks and the families they serve.
