Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Summary Judgment
Court properly entered summary judgment for defendant insurance restoration company as to Sales Representative Act. Company was not a "principal" within meaning of the Act. Contents of company's website and terms of parties' agreement failed to raise genuine issue as to whether company was a purveyor of tangible goods. Any tangible goods associated with subcontractors' repair work were merely incidental to services the company provided, and thus its activity did not fall within scope of Act.(CONNORS and HOFFMAN, concurring.)
