Flowers v. Kia Motors Finance

Plaintiff, who was delinquent in paying a car loan, filed a lawsuit against defendant for unlawful collection practices alleging that the defendant was responsible for a truck blocking her vehicle from pulling out of a parking space and then following her for some distance. The Seventh Circuit affirmed the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the defendant, explaining that plaintiff could not point to any evidence from which a reasonable jury could find that the defendant was involved with the events described in her complaint.
