Williams v. Village of Berkeley

Plaintiff appealed two circuit court orders in his premises-liability lawsuit. The first order granted the defendant’s motion to reconsider a prior order denying the defendant’s motion for summary judgment and the second order found that the defendant was immune from suit and granted summary judgment in favor of the defendant. The appellate court reversed, finding that defendant had failed to establish that it was entitled to immunity. (ROCHFORD and OCASIO, concurring)
