Federal 7th Circuit Court
Civil Court
Breach of Contract
Plaintiff filed a lawsuit alleging that defendant breached at least two agreements entered into between the parties and the district court dismissed the case, determining that the plain meaning of the controlling agreements defeated the plaintiffs’ claims. The Seventh Circuit agreed and affirmed, explaining that the language of the contracts was clear and unambiguous and that the district court correctly concluded that the plaintiff did not establish a breach of contract or promissory estoppel claim.
