Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Public Utilities Act
Petitioners appealed from a decision by the Illinois Commerce Commission following a reconciliation proceeding in which the attorney general intervened, where the commission disallowed uncollectible expenses sought by the petitioners under the Public Utilities Act. Petitioners argued on direct administrative review that the commission’s imprudence finding and disallowance were not supported by substantial evidence. The appellate court disagreed and affirmed.
