If you do not already have a Chicago Sky or Ticketmaster account, one will automatically be created for you based on the email address ISBA has on file for you. Please Note: This email will not contain a scannable ticket and will not allow entry to the game. You must follow the instructions in the email to accept the tickets to your account and have the digital ticket(s) ready to scan into the arena. Only digital tickets on a smartphone will be accepted for admission to the arena. Paper printouts or screenshots will NOT be accepted at Wintrust Arena.

Book Banning & Barbie CLE & Social

Decalogue Society of Lawyers’ Womxn’s Committee, with co-hosts ISBA Women & the Law Committee and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois invite you for their next Book Club event.  The evening will feature a talk from Renee Rosen, author of Let’s Call Her Barbie and a one-hour CLE on issues related to book-banning by nationally recognized attorney Daliah Saper. Tickets to this event are $35 for ISBA members. 

Renee Rosen

Renée Rosen is the USA Today bestselling author of nine novels, including Let's Call Her Barbie, Fifth Avenue Glamour Girl, The Social Graces, Park Avenue Summer. Her novels often feature strong, enterprising women. Renée is a native of Akron, Ohio, and a graduate of the American University in Washington D.C. She now lives in Chicago with her partner, John Dul, and is currently working on a new novel coming from Penguin Random House / Berkley in 2027.

Daliah Saper

Daliah Saper is nationally recognized for drafting and negotiating complex contracts, helping brands protect their trademarks and copyrights online, and litigating cutting- edge cases involving anonymous online defamation, revenge porn, sexting, cyberbullying, and other emerging Internet Law issues. Daliah made international headlines when she represented a "catfishing" victim before the Illinois Supreme Court. In addition to managing Saper Law for the last 19 years, Daliah has served as an Adjunct Professor of Entertainment and Internet Law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law since 2010.

Race Judicata

The Illinois State Bar Association and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois are teaming up for two times the fun at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) 29th annual Race Judicata Sprint for Justice 5K Run/Walk/Party. This year's event takes place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in Chicago’s Lincoln Park, 1746 N Stockton Drive.

All proceeds from Race Judicata benefit the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation in their mission to ensure that the law works for everyone.

The organizations will host a tent that will serve as the main gathering point for ISBA and WBAI members. T-shirts will be provided for team members. Food and water will be available at the tent.

Registration is $45 plus a $4.18 processing fee.

The Illinois State Bar Association will be a Gold Co-Sponsor of the All Bar Social with the Chicago Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hubbard Inn, 110 W. Hubbard St., Chicago. All lawyers and law students are welcome to attend! 

Tickets are $50 and include drinks and appetizers.
