The mission of ISBA Standing Committee on Artificial Intelligence & the Practice of Law is to:
- Actively engage in the review and development of legislation and court rules on the responsible use of AI in order to ensure the integrity of judicial and administrative processes, preservation of legal rights, and promotion of a strong and vibrant legal profession;
- Actively assist in the development and presentation of meaningful programming on AI for use by the legal profession;
- Actively assist in the creation of practice resources for use by the legal profession;
- Collaborate with other ISBA sections and committees, as well as with other organizations, in furtherance of the above mission objectives.
