Robert J. Mangler, former village attorney for Wilmette and Evanston, passed away yesterday at the age of 80. Visitation for Mr. Mangler was scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Dec. 1 at the William H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave., in Wilmette. His funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Dec. 2 at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 524 Ninth St., Wilmette.
