Eveland named to Class of 2011 Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40

Toby EvelandWilliam T. Eveland (Toby), an associate in the Litigation practice of law firm Arnstein & Lehr’s Chicago office, has been selected as one of the ‘Best LGBT Attorneys Under 40’ by the National LGBT Bar Association. Eveland is the chair of the Illinois State Bar Association's Diversity Leadership Council and is immediate past chair of the ISBA's Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI).

The National LGBT Bar Association established this award to recognize lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBT equality.

The Association's committee determined Eveland’s nomination was exceptionally strong and he should be included in the Class of 2011 listing of the best and brightest in the LGBT legal community. The Best LGBT Attorneys Under 40 will be formally recognized at the 2011 Lavender Law Career Fair & Conference on Sept. 8-10.
