Langhenry, Gillen, Lundquist and Johnson, LLC is pleased to announce that Michelle M. Paveza and Michael R. Radak have become partners in the firm. The firm thanks them for their hard work and dedication in serving their clients.
Michelle Paveza was born in Covina, CA in 1970. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor is Russian and Soviet Studies from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ in 1991. Ms. Paveza earned her juris doctorate degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1996. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1996 and has been admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for both the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. She focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, construction litigation, general civil litigation and consumer fraud defense.
Michael Radak has extensive experience in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense law, including automobile accidents, construction, premises liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice defense and Dram Shop. He has successfully defended a number of arbitrations and trials. Of note, he participated in the trial and successful defense of a personal injury lawsuit in which the plaintiff sought over $20 million in damages. He has also worked in the areas of personal injury and class action litigation. While in law school, he did pro-bono work for the Chicago Legal Clinic, involving a class action civil rights suit. Mr. Radak is a member of the Chicago Defense Bar Counsel, the American Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where he focused his studies in the areas of Intellectual Property and Criminal Law. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a major in History. Mr. Radak is admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court.
