CLE: Guns in the Workplace: Workers, Unions, and Employers – LIVE Webcast!
Join us via the Internet on Wednesday, September 10th for this live webcast that examines issues and concerns with guns in the workplace and discusses Illinois' Concealed Carry Law requirements. Labor and employment attorneys with intermediate practice experience who attend this seminar will better understand: how unions and management can balance the OSHA duty to maintain a safe workplace; the extent management can monitor workers’ Concealed Cary license and FOID card; whether or not the union can bargain away employees’ rights to concealed carry; how involved the union should be in formulated company policy on guns in the workplace; the need for parking lot safety; and issues that can arise with concealed carry when an employee is traveling on company time.
The program is presented by the ISBA Labor & Employment Section and qualifies for 1.5 hours MCLE credit.
