Kelley Kronenberg, a full-service law firm, has announced that Bruce E. de’Medici joined as Of Counsel in the firm’s Chicago office. Mr. de’Medici has more than 30 years of experience in commercial finance transactions, corporate restructuring, and insolvency proceedings.   

Among his diverse client base, Mr. de’Medici represents business enterprises, financial institutions, lessors, secured and commercial creditors, assignees for the benefit of creditors, and bankruptcy trustees in all facets of bankruptcy litigation and reorganization.

Additionally, he has reorganized various business enterprises in both judicial and non-judicial settings. Mr. de’Medici is experienced in recovering assets, collecting accounts, enforcing negotiable instruments, avoiding preferences, and utilizing the protections of the  Bankruptcy Code and applicable law to reorganize clients’ operations, preserve their assets, and resolve their business needs.

Recognized as a leader in his field, Mr. de’Medici frequently presents seminars for the National Business Institute and was selected for inclusion on the Leading Lawyers list in 2011. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and The Chicago Bar Association.

Mr. de’Medici earned his bachelor’s degree, with distinction, from the University of Michigan and his juris doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School.
