Lauren Boaz was named a partner of SWMK Law as of July 1. She is the first of the firm’s attorneys to become partner since their founding in 2012. Founding partners of the firm are Ben Schmickle, Steve Wohlford, Matt Morris, and Joe Kusmierczak.

SWMK Law specializes in mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer litigation, and has a nationwide client base. Boaz leads the SWMK team that seeks recovery for mesothelioma clients from bankruptcy trust funds.

Boaz is a Belleville, Illinois native and graduated from Althoff Catholic High School with high honors. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her undergraduate studies, earning a degree in History. Lauren obtained her Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law.
