The Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, Inc.(LOLLAF) is looking for a staff attorney for the Southern Illinois University Medical-Legal Partnership at the Center for Family Medicine (SIU-MLP) operating out of LOLLAF's Northern Regional Office. The SIU-MLP is a collaborative partnership between LOLLAF and SIU Center for Family Medicine wherein healthcare providers refer patients for legal assistance in order to address social determinants affecting patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities: Both administrative and client case-work based. Provide civil legal services to persons referred by our health care partner. Develop and present training programs to residents, faculty doctors, nurses. Develop and present community legal education programs. Prepare quarterly reports. 

Qualifications: Admission to the Illinois Bar and demonstrated commitment to the representation of low-income individuals. Prior legal services or clinical work experience strongly preferred. 

Salary: $45,000+ with license (depending on experience).  Excellent fringe benefits.
