Glenn Owen Fuller 1930-2018
Glenn Owen Fuller, 87, died Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was born July 19, 1930, in Joliet.
Glenn served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1961. He attended Illinois State University for his undergraduate studies then graduated from the University of Michigan with a law degree.
He worked briefly in the Macon County State’s Attorney’s Office before transitioning to private practice as a criminal defense attorney. He practiced law in Decatur for more than 50 years.
Glenn was an avid runner and exercise enthusiast. He strived to eat healthy foods and enjoy life to the fullest. One of his favorite things to do was to help his wife, Aileen, maintain their vibrant garden. Glenn was also known for his beautiful voice. His home and the love of his neighbors were the highlights of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hiram, and his mother, Doris. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 49 years, Aileen; son, Bryan W. Fuller of Austin, Texas, and daughter, Robin R. Fuller and husband Gary, of Wisconsin; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his younger brother, Gary and family, of St. Louis, Mo.
