Attorney Samuel Levine Joins Bryce Downey & Lenkov
Samuel Levine recently joined Bryce Downey & Lenkov as full time Of Counsel in its construction law and real estate practice areas.
Levine has extensive experience in construction, mechanics liens, and real estate litigation, having tried, arbitrated, and mediated a variety of cases in these areas. Levine represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and lenders in construction disputes and mechanics lien and surety bond claims. He also represents developers, secured creditors, title insurance companies, and their insureds and commercial landlords in real estate title disputes, commercial litigation, commercial mortgage foreclosures, and other loan and collateral enforcement and bankruptcy matters.
Levine was the initial chair of the ISBA Construction Law Committee, now known as the ISBA Construction Law Section, and currently serves as the co-editor of its Building Knowledge Construction Law Newsletter. He is a member of the Society of Illinois Construction Attorneys. Additionally, he has been the chair of both the ISBA Real Estate and Commercial Banking, Collections and Bankruptcy Section Councils.
Levine is a graduate of the Washington University in St. Louis and earned his juris doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
