Improvements Coming to University of Illinois College of Law Library Reading Room
The University of Illinois College of Law Library Reading Room will be undergoing renovations beginning Dec. 26.
Sprinklers will be added and the ceiling and lights will be upgraded. University officials anticipate the project will be completed in late April or early May 2019.
During the renovation process, the Reading Room, Fishbowl, Illinois Alcove, Library classroom, Rare Book Room, the Mezzanine and study rooms will not be open for use. The university will send updates via social media throughout the project on Facebook and Twitter.
Reference assistance will be available in Room 101A, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. The library circulation desk will be open beginning Jan. 14, 2019, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 until 5 p.m.
