He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and June Robins, and will be deeply missed by his longtime friends, extended family, colleagues, and clients.

Marty was a practicing attorney and member of the bar in Illinois. He loved the law and took great pride in his legal profession. Marty began his career serving several of Chicago's top law firms, followed by positions as in-house counsel for IDC Services, and Sr. VP and General Counsel for Meridian Leasing. At the time of his passing, Marty was a partner and valued member of the law firm FisherBroyles. Marty was generous with his time by sharing his extensive knowledge. He served as an Adjunct Instructor for more than a decade at DePaul University College of Law, and as a Board member for the Barrington Youth and Family Services. A prolific writer, Marty published extensively in legal journals, and authored a conservative column for the Huffington Post. A passionate sports fan, Marty played hockey, tennis and golf. Above all, Marty was a loyal and devoted Chicago Bears fan and a season ticket holder for forty years.
