John Anthony Keating, 87, native of Bridgeport, CT, local real estate attorney for 60 years passed away March 12, following a recent fall at home.

Dubbed "Big John the Atom Bomb" by the Evanston Review when he played center for ETHS football team, and then at Northwestern University. He was a fierce competitor on the field. Teamwork served him well in his profession. John loved to tell his stories. He would launch into a favorite with relish. Self effacing, he was fond of saying: When I die, just write: Services have already been held.

John leaves behind his wife, Mary Ann Dooley, late former wife Barbara, his 4 children: Brad (Mo), the late Wendy, Jack, and Lynne (Jim); 10 grandchildren: Cal (Caroline), Gavin, Riley, Delaney, Bridey, Darcey, Grace, Olivia, James, and William.
