Duane Charles Quaini of Chicago, IL, died peacefully June 6, 2022, surrounded by family.

A devoted patriarch, accomplished lawyer, philanthropist, and connoisseur of music and art, Duane was born March 30, 1945, in Oxnard, CA, to the late Elo and Frances Quaini.

A graduate of Claremont-McKenna College and Stanford Law School he joined the Sonnenschein (Dentons) Law Firm where he practiced commercial litigation for 40 years including 10 years as Chairman. He adored Chris, his late wife of 33 years, was a loving stepfather of Gregg Kulusic and Wendy Aylward, doting grandfather ("Bompa") of Ashley Aylward and Patrick (Sydney) Aylward & great-grandbaby Maren. Loving cousin of Marina Pescio and goddaughter Anissa. Long-time friend of Lee Lichemer.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for late summer.
