Building a diverse and inclusive law office, managing a hybrid practice, responsibly handling social media, building and strengthening relationships with clients, combating workplace stress, and developing employee handbooks are all in the mix for the 2022 ISBA Solo and Small Firm Conference, titled “Navigating the New Normal—Your Modern Practice.”

The jam-packed conference, featured in September’s Illinois Bar Journal, is live and in-person again; several sessions will focus on various aspects of law office technology, both how to use it and how to keep it from being misused. The ever-important issue of cybersecurity will be front-and-center at the conference, sponsored by the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company and scheduled for Sept. 29-30—in person for the first time in three years—at the Wyndham Springfield City Centre.
