Seamus James Prendergast, age 70, of South Elgin, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2023.

He is survived by his beloved children: Katharine (Ryan) Weinheimer and James Prendergast; cherished granddaughter, Haley; cherished siblings: Gerald (Yvonne DelPrincipe) Prendergast, Richard (Julie) Prendergast, Thomas (Joan) Prendergast, Patrick (late Sharon) Prendergast, Loretto (late Bob) White and Regina (Steve) Hermann; numerous loving and adored nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Catherine Prendergast and sister, Catherine Prendergast.

Seamus earned his Bachelor's degree from Quincy College. He went on to graduate from Northern Illinois University School of Law and practiced law his entire adult life. Seamus was an avid Chicago Sports fan. He loved his family and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
