Sonni Choi Williams Installed as 148th President of the Illinois State Bar Association

Sonni Choi Williams, the City Attorney of Lockport, was installed as president of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) today at the Illinois Supreme Court building in Springfield. Williams is the 148th president of the Association. 

Williams is the first woman lawyer of color to serve as president of the Association. 

Williams received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law.
