ISBA Board of Governors Elects Secretary and Treasurer for 2024-25 Bar Year
Emily N. Masalski, of Oak Park, and Wesley Gozia, of Carlyle, have been elected secretary and treasurer, respectively, of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). Their terms will last for one year until the Annual Meeting of 2025.
Masalski is Counsel – Regulatory & Sustainability at Eaton Corporation, a global power management company. She provides legal and strategic counsel on various regulatory matters in the areas of environmental, health, & safety; ESG (environmental, social, and governance); and real estate strategic initiatives. She is currently serving her first term on the ISBA Board of Governors (Cook County).
Gozia is the owner of Gozia Law Firm LLC, where he concentrates in divorce, family law, estate planning, probate, business law, criminal defense, real estate, and mineral law. He is currently serving his first term on the ISBA Board of Governors (Area VII) and recently completed his term as chair of ISBA’s Family Law Section Council.
Founded in 1877, the Illinois State Bar Association is the premier legal association in the state. As a voluntary organization of more than 28,000 members, the Association aims to assist Illinois lawyers in the practice of law and to promote improvements in the administration of justice.
