The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Division of Legal Counsel (DLC), Bureau of Water, Enforcement Unit is seeking to hire a Technical Advisor II. This position performs technical and legal work of a general nature, involving responsibility for recommending administrative action on problems relating to the Bureau of Water enforcement or activity. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal research and writing and in administrative law including conducting administrative hearings, and litigating matters before administrative tribunals. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), Division of Legal Counsel (DLC) is seeking to hire a Technical Advisor II to serve in the area of Bureau of Water (BOW)-Regulatory. This position performs technical and legal work of a general nature, providing legal counsel to the BOW regarding the development of statutory and regulatory provisions under the Illinois Environmental Protection Act. The ideal candidate will have experience in Illinois’ administrative rulemaking process, conducting hearings, and litigating matters before administrative tribunals.
