At the December 13, 2024, meeting of the ISBA Assembly, four “At-Large” Delegates to the ABA House of Delegates will be elected, two from Cook County and two from the area outside Cook County. The nominees for these positions must be members of the ISBA, in good standing, and from the appropriate area at the time the ABA term commences. The elected delegates will serve for two-year terms commencing June 2025 and will join the ISBA delegation in August at the ABA annual meeting in Toronto.

At the March 2024 meeting of the ISBA Board of Governors, the Board shall elect two Under 35 delegates to the ABA House of Delegates, one from Cook County and one from outside Cook County. The candidates for these positions must be members of the ISBA and ABA in good standing, from the appropriate geographical area, and under the age of 35 at the close of the 2024 ABA Annual Meeting, which is Tuesday, August 6.

Steven Pflaum, partner and co-chair of Neal Gerber Eisenberg’s litigation department, was honored by The Illinois Judges Association (IJA) at their annual luncheon on Dec. 7 for his esteemed service on the Illinois Judicial Ethics Committee. The event also honored retired Illinois Supreme Court Justice Charles Freeman and outgoing Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.
The event was part of the 2018 Joint Midyear Meeting.

Nominations must be made in writing by at least 20 ISBA members in good standing from the appropriate area. Nominations must be filed with the office of the Executive Director not later than Monday, Nov. 19.
