The ISBA Young Lawyers Division held a Summer Soiree to benefit the Illinois Bar Foundation/Young Lawyers Division Children's Assistance Fund on Friday, June 5. The event, attended by over 100 lawyers and their guests, was held at the Chicago Cultural Center. A silent auction also helped raise money for the Fund.

Minow, who has been a member of the Law School faculty since 1981, is the daughter of Newton Minow, senior counsel at Sidley Austin. The Tribune's Chicago Law has the story. Martha Minow replaces Elena Kagan, who became U.S. solicitor general earlier this year, on July 1.
