Charles (“Chuck”) John Prorok 69, of Rockford, died September 2, 2020 following an almost three-year battle with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma. Born April 7, 1951 in Chicago, the son of Robert P. and Dusolina E. (Mascitelli) Prorok, Sr. He married Marcia Mueller on January 27, 1979 in Rockford.

John was born on Sept. 20, 1937, to Oliver and Jean Phipps. Glenn E. Benckendorf, 90, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Morton, Illinois, went to be with our Lord on August 5, 2020. Born August 25, 1929, in Streator, Illinois, to Lloyd and Mary Benckendorf, he grew up during the Great Depression and World War II. As a youth, Glenn worked in brick kilns, in the family diner, and as a railroad truck laborer.
