ISBA President Jack C. Carey was honored by the Illinois Bar Foundation at a benefit reception on June 17 at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis.
Carey's term as ISBA president will conclude on June 27 at the end of the 133rd Annual Meeting at the Abbey Resort in Lake Geneva.

Minow, who has been a member of the Law School faculty since 1981, is the daughter of Newton Minow, senior counsel at Sidley Austin. The Tribune's Chicago Law has the story. Martha Minow replaces Elena Kagan, who became U.S. solicitor general earlier this year, on July 1.
