The ISBA Young Lawyers Division hosted its Annual Bean Bag Tournament on April 16 at Joe's Brewery in Champaign. This event benefited the ISBA/YLD Children's Assistance Fund, which provides grants to organizations throughout Illinois related to children and law.

Teams from 38 high schools from throughout Illinois participated in the 34th annual Illinois State Bar Association High School Mock Trial Invitational on April 2-3 at the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign. ISBA President Umberto S. Davi and members of the ISBA Law Related Education Committee served as volunteers to rate the students' performance. Elmhurst’s Timothy Christian High School was declared the winner and will represent Illinois at the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Boise, Idaho. St.
