    Patricia Spiccia joins Quarles & Brady's Tax-Exempt Organization's Practice Group

    The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Patricia Spiccia has joined the firm's Chicago office in its Tax-Exempt Organizations Practice Group.

    Spiccia previously externed at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in the Tax-Exempt Organizations Group. She also served as a judicial extern with the U.S. Courts for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Paul R. Cherry and the Honorable Jon E. DeGuilio. During law school, Patricia was a member of the Moot Court Society and an executive editor of the law review.

    She earned her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, her bachelor's degree from Indiana University – Bloomington, and her master of laws degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

    Camilla M. Pollock-Flynn has been promoted to partner at LaBarge Campbell & Lyon, LLC. Ms. Pollock-Flynn concentrates her practice in medical malpractice defense, insurance coverage, construction litigation, and general insurance defense.

    Ms. Pollock-Flynn joined LaBarge, Campbell & Lyon as an associate in 2007. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 2004 and her juris doctor, cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law in 2007. Ms. Pollock-Flynn also holds a certificate in health law.

    Corboy & Demetrio promotes Lumb, Willer to partner

    Corboy & Demetrio has promoted Kenneth T. Lumb and Edward G. Willer to partner.

    Ken, who joined Corboy & Demetrio as an associate in 1995 after a tour of duty in the United States Army, has devoted his career to representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases.  Ken’s skills as a trial lawyer and advocate for our clients exemplify the firm’s mission to provide the highest quality legal services to those most in need.

    Ken honed his skills serving as captain in the Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG Corps) where he served as the Medical Claims Judge Advocate at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  His duties included medical malpractice defense and hospital law.  He was subsequently promoted to major in the Army reserve.

    In 2003, he was mobilized in support of Operation “Iraqi Freedom” and spent six months on active duty at Walter Reed.  For his service on behalf of wounded soldiers and their families, Ken received a Meritorious Service medal.   

    At Corboy & Demetrio, Ken has obtained numerous multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts, including a $7 million settlement for a woman who was injured when she was struck by a malfunctioning automatic door as she entered a Target store and a $4.25 million verdict on behalf of the children of a woman who died after a cervical biopsy at a Veterans Administration hospital.

    Thomas J. Hayes Joins Dinsmore’s Chicago office

    Dinsmore & Shohl continues to grow in Chicago by welcoming Thomas J. Hayes to the office. Hayes will practice out the Litigation Department.

    Hayes joins Dinsmore from Thomson Coburn LLP where he focused on commercial litigation involving construction and real estate disputes, actions arising from the sale of goods, defamation suits and financial services litigation. In addition, he advises clients on how best to protect trade secrets, negotiate and enforce restrictive covenants and conduct internal investigations.

    Hayes earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and also received his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Michigan State University.

    In the year since Dinsmore gained the Chicago office through the Peck, Shaffer & Williams merger, it has experienced rapid growth adding 13 attorneys to that location and enhanced the services offered. Chicago moved from being Dinsmore’s smallest location to the 9th largest office in the firm. Earlier this month, Labor and Employment Partner Sara A. Weinberg joined the firm.

    Kaye, Cislo join Anderson & Associates, P.C.

    Anderson & Associates, P.C. proudly announces that Bradley Kaye and Noelle Cislo have joined the firm as associate attorneys. Prior to becoming associate attorneys, Kaye and Cislo joined the firm in 2014 as law clerks and contributed to cases in the areas of divorce, post-decree issues, estate planning and probate law. Both are members of the Illinois State Bar Association.

    Associate Attorney Bradley Kaye received his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University Law School in 2014. He received his Master’s degree from Columbia College in Chicago in 2010 and his Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette in 2005. During law school, Kaye served as the President of the Appellate Moot Court Society and won the Honorable William J. Bauer Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Kaye was elected to the Order of the Barristers for his outstanding oral advocacy and brief writing. He was also awarded the Benjamin Hooks Distinguished Public Service Award for volunteering his time at the Cook County Domestic Violence Courthouse and Cabrini Green Legal Aid. Kaye participated in multiple clerkships throughout law school. Most notably, he used his 711 license with DePaul’s Family Law Clinic and the Cook County Office of the Public Defender-Juvenile Division.

    Daley Mohan Groble is pleased to announce that Heather Adams, Sean Gingrich and Kathryn Doi have joined the firm.

    Heather Adams specializes in employment and civil litigation, representing clients from diverse industries.  She also works with employers to develop strategies and training for their Compliance and Personnel Divisions as well as leads internal investigations into complaints of workplace harassment, retaliation and discrimination.
