Austin Fleming Newsletter Editors Award
This award honors outstanding editors or past editors of Association newsletters. It is based on the concept of meritorious service to the Association and is not necessarily to be given every year. Nominations must be received by March 15, 2013. Nominating forms are available at www.isba.org/awards/newsletteraward.

Community Leadership Award
Nominees for the Community Leadership Award should be judges, lawyers, members of state or local legislative bodies, educators or community activist groups who have worked to eliminate discrimination and foster understanding of legal issues relating to the LGBT community. Nominations are due by April 5, 2013. The nominating form is available at www.isba.org/awards/sogi.

Diversity Leadership Award
The Diversity Leadership Award recognizes long standing, continuing and exceptional commitment by an individual or an organization to the critical importance of diversity within the Illinois legal community, its judiciary and within ISBA. The recipient may be a lawyer or non-lawyer or an organization of lawyers or a combination of both. Nominations are due by April 5, 2013. General Practice
Nominees for the Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award must be ISBA members who have been in general practice for at least 20 years and have made significant contributions to the profession and community. Nominations are due by April 1, 2013. The nominating form is available at www.isba.org/awards/gp.

Gertz Award
The Gertz Award recognizes long-standing, continuing and exceptional commitment by an individual or an organization to the protection or advancement of Human Rights. Nominations must be received by March 8, 2013. Nominating forms are available at www.isba.org/awards/humanrights.

Joseph R. Bartylak Memorial Award
The ISBA’s Delivery of Legal Services committee has established the Joseph R. Bartylak Memorial Legal Services Award to annually honor the extraordinary commitment and dedication of a civil legal services attorney who has provided the highest caliber of compassionate legal representation and outstanding service to Illinois’ vulnerable and low-income population.

The Illinois Bar Foundation will award a $1,000 grant in honor of the Joseph R. Bartylak Memorial Legal Services Award to the Illinois not-for-profit legal aid organization through which the awardee provides civil legal services. Nominations for the Joseph R. Law Students
Nominees from ISBA-affiliated law schools should be participating in activities that enhance professional responsibility and provide service to the public. The award recipient will receive all expenses paid to the ISBA Annual Meeting including transportation and one night's lodging. Nominations are due by April 5, 2013. Young Lawyers
The ISBA Young Lawyers Division presents two Young Lawyer of the Year awards - one for Cook County and one for outside Cook County. Nominees must be ISBA members under age 36 who have achieved excellence in litigation, advocacy or counseling, and have contributed to the profession through public service and pro bono activity.
