Chief Circuit Judge Kathryn E. Creswell is pleased to announce that following a tabulation of ballots, the Circuit Judges of the 18th Judicial Circuit, DuPage County, have appointed Joseph T. Bugos to the position of Associate Judge.

Mr. Bugos fills the vacancy created by the elevation of Associate Judge Paul M. Fullerton to Circuit Judge.

Mr. Bugos received his J.D. from Loyola University in 1983 and was admitted to the practice of law in Illinois that same year. He is currently a solo practitioner for the Law Office of Joseph T. Bugos in Wheaton. Previously, he was a partner with Donahue, Dowa, Bugo & Brown in Lisle. and an Assistant State's Attorney for the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. He is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
