The Illinois State Bar Association’s Lawyer Finder Service provides referrals to local lawyers Mondays through Fridays. The Service makes referrals in a number of areas of law. For the month of January 2018 there were over 1,000 referrals given.

Here are the results for January 2018:

• 1,053 phone referrals made by Lawyer Finder staff
• Referrals made in 32 areas of law
• Most requested areas of law: Family (154), personal injury (116), and criminal law (116)
• Most requested county of referrals: Cook (266), Sangamon (69), and Madison (61)
