Michael J. Logan, 74, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly at 5:46 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1943, in West Frankfort, Illinois, to James and Helen Malinasky Logan. He married Jennifer James on June 24, 1967, and she survives.

Also surviving are three sons: James of AZ, Stephen (Andrea) of VA and Daniel (I-Chant) of Canada, two grandchildren, Tesla and Nia, one brother, William of Canada and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Michael grew up in Williamsville and graduated from Williamsville High School in 1961. He received his Bachelor's Degree from MacMurray College in 1965; his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in 1971 and was sworn in to the Illinois Bar Association in 1972. He practiced law in Springfield his entire career.
He was a member of the Illinois Bar Association; Sangamon County Bar Association and Central Baptist Church.
