Richard Charles Warrington, Jr., 71, of Carmel, Indiana and formerly of Springfield, Illinois passed away January 3, 2021 with his wife at his side. He was born March 8, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Richard Sr. and Stella E. (Gasperac) Warrington. He married Cynthia L. Geick on February 14, 1985, and she survives.

Rich received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois then served as an attorney for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency until his retirement. He was a long-time member of the Illinois Chapter of the Sierra Club.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richard C. Warrington Memorial Fund that will be used for the benefit of The American Diabetes Association and Feeding America.
