The Illinois Air National Guard is accepting letters of interest from qualified candidates for Judge Advocates in the Air National Guard. Currently, there are three vacant military Judge Advocate positions.  

Detailed position descriptions are attached for:

• Deputy State Staff Judge Advocate (Headquarters - Illinois Air National Guard, Camp Lincoln Springfield)
• Military Defense Counsel (Headquarters - Illinois Air National Guard, Camp Lincoln Springfield)
• Air Component Legal Advisor

These are military dual status National Guard positions (traditional citizen airman). Current and former service Judge Advocates are preferred. Applications will also be considered from civilians interested in joining the Air National Guard provided authorization for accession by the Air Force Judge Advocate General.
