Kim Richard Denkewalter, 75, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 30, 2023.

Kim was born on May 7, 1948, in Chicago, IL, to his loving parents the late Walter J. Denkewalter and Doris E. Larsen. Kim grew up in Elmwood Park, IL, attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, and served in the Army reserves. Kim received his Bachelor's degree from Loyola University and his Juris Doctor from Chicago Kent College of Law.

Kim is survived by his brother and best friend, Rob (Marianne) Denkewalter. Cherished uncle of Rob Denkewalter, Jr., Jorie (Don) Lingner, and the late Meghan Therese Denkewalter. Beloved great-uncle to Jake Stockmann and Ally Denkewalter. Loving extended family to Marshall (Meriam) Harrison and their son Caleb. Devoted cousin, loyal friend, golf partner, and poker buddy of many. Kim proudly served as golf chairman for the past 10 years to Have Dreams. He was the valued business partner of 41 years, at Denkewalter & Angelo Law Firm, and a treasured friend to William Angelo, Sr. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Brookfield Zoo or SIDS of Illinois.
