Donald J. Kreger, age, 84, beloved husband of Victoria "Vicki" Kreger; loving father of David (Felicia) Kreger, Gregory Kreger, Jeremy (Erin) Kreger, and Michael (Ashley) Kreger; adored Papa of Trystan, Sydney, Ronan, Kane, Violet, and Lucas; devoted son of the late Jerome and the late Bess Kreger; cherished brother of the late Elwood "Woody" (late Joan) Kreger; treasured uncle and friend to many. 

Don was a one-of-a-kind attorney, who was well known and sought after for his skills as an outstanding litigator and bond attorney - a rare combination. He tenaciously and insightfully represented his municipal and corporate clients for over 50 years as a partner at some of Chicago's finest firms. Don's unique practice put him in a place to successfully argue noteworthy cases of first impression before the State's highest court, incorporate and represent numerous units of local government, and structure complex public financing transactions. His former partners remember him as a lawyer's lawyer-a brilliant mind whose counsel they sought and will sorely miss. His friends will remember him as a determined bridge partner or opponent. His family will remember him as a devoted father, husband, and provider who loved all sports and would attend his sons' games at all costs.
