The Decalogue Society to Host an Evening With Author Jill Wine-Banks

On Wednesday, September 25 at 5:30 pm, the Decalogue Society will host an evening with author, attorney, and MSNBC Analyst Jill Wine-Banks, author of The Watergate Girl: My Fight for Truth and Justice Against a Criminal President. The event will take place at The Arts Club of Chicago (201 E. Ontario). Co-sponsored by ISBA’s Standing Committee on Women and the Law. Tickets are $50 ($35 for ISBA members). Registration is available on The Decalogue Society website (non-Decalogue members will need to create a non-member profile).

Jill Wine-Banks, a distinguished attorney and MSNBC Legal Analyst, is a prominent figure in political and legal discourse. Her association with MSNBC began in July 2017 when she made her debut appearance to comment on an opinion piece she wrote in the Chicago Tribune titled “Former Watergate Prosecutor: Comey’s Firing Is As Bad as the Saturday Night Massacre.” This initial commentary led to her being hired as an MSNBC Contributor, marking the beginning of her impactful tenure with the network.  In The Watergate Girl, Jill Wine-Banks takes us inside this troubled time in American history, and it is impossible to read about the crimes of Richard Nixon and the people around him without drawing parallels to today’s headlines.
