Christopher T. Tucker, LC, 59, of Saint Charles, Missouri, formerly of Girard, Illinois, passed away Tuesday morning, November 16, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Hon. George H. Nafziger, 85, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at his home. He was born February 22, 1936, in Springfield, the son of Elmer R. and Theresa (Carroll) Nafziger. He married Rita Gooch on March 13, 1965, and she survives.

Michael “Vuj” Vujovich, 73, of Petersburg, IL, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was born in Forbach, France, on August 11, 1948, to Milonja and Hildegard (Boguschewski) Vujovich.

Paul A. Meints, of Bloomington, Illinois, passed away on December 6th. Paul was born in Quincy, Illinois to Arlene and Alvin Meints on May 11, 1947. He grew up in Golden, Illinois, and graduated from Central High School. Paul went on to study finance at Western Illinois University and earned his law degree from Valparaiso University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1971. Paul was proud of his military service and honored to be a veteran.

The ISBA offices will be closed for the holidays from Thursday, December 23, to Sunday, January 2. The offices will reopen on Monday, January 3. During this time, members can expect the following:
- E-Clips will not be delivered for the duration of this period.
- The Bar News will not be delivered on Thursday, December 23.
- Illinois Lawyer Now will not be delivered on Thursday, December 30.
All business and e-newsletter distribution will resume as usual on January 3, 2022.

The U.S. Attorney's Office Central District of Illinois is accepting applications for an Assistant United States Attorney opening in its Criminal Division to be located in Urbana, IL.
Applicants must be a United States citizen or national; submit to a background investigation, credit and tax checks, and drug test; be registered for selective service, if applicable; have a J.D. Degree; have at least three years post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience; and be active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction).
