The Illinois Supreme Court Rules of Professional Conduct require attorneys to report any judge who violates the Illinois Code of Judicial Conduct. On Dec. 8, 2023, the ISBA Young Lawyers Division (YLD) presented the CLE program, Beyond Objection: Using Theatre Techniques for Effective Counsel, in conjunction with the Joint Midyear Meeting at the JW Marriott in Chicago. Speaker Nelson Velazquez (Nezprov Productions) engaged attendees in a number of interactive activities that are used by improvisational actors to help strengthen quick-thinking and story-telling abilities.
