The Illinois Supreme Court Rules of Professional Conduct require attorneys to report any judge who violates the Illinois Code of Judicial Conduct. The Rules also mandate that attorneys will face professional misconduct charges themselves, if they knowingly assisting a judge in behavior that violates the Code.
