The Illinois State Bar Association’s Lawyer Finder Service provides referrals to local lawyers Mondays through Fridays. The Service makes referrals in a number of areas of law. For the month of January, 2024, ISBA helped 1,444 people in need of legal services find lawyers.

Volunteers are needed for the 2024 ISBA High School Mock Trial Invitational, which will be held at the University of Illinois – Springfield on March 16–17, 2024. This program provides an opportunity for students to learn what it is like to prepare and present a legal case before the Illinois courts. Participating students gain a better understanding of the justice system and improve their knowledge, skills, and ability to articulate in a reasoned, thoughtful manner.
