At the March 2024 meeting of the ISBA Board of Governors, the Board shall elect two Under 35 delegates to the ABA House of Delegates, one from Cook County and one from outside Cook County. The candidates for these positions must be members of the ISBA and ABA in good standing, from the appropriate geographical area, and under the age of 35 at the close of the 2024 ABA Annual Meeting, which is Tuesday, August 6.

The elected delegates will serve for two-year terms commencing at the close of the ISBA Annual Meeting in June 2024. The delegates will join the ISBA delegation in August 2024 at the ABA Annual Meeting.  The vacancies exist as a result of no candidates filing by the original deadline. 

In addition, the Board shall elect one delegate to the ABA House of Delegates to fill a vacancy in an outside Cook County at-large delegate seat. This elected delegate shall serve until June 2025. The delegate will join the ISBA delegation in August 2024 at the ABA Annual Meeting. Candidates for this position must be a member of the ISBA and ABA in good standing and from the appropriate geographical area.

Members interested in a position must submit a letter of interest and a bio to kweaver@isba.org no later than February 26, 2024. These materials will be distributed to the Board prior to the election at the March meeting.
