Leading DuPage County law firm Momkus McCluskey, LLC announced today that Daniel J. Biederman, Sr. has joined the firm in Lisle as a partner in its Environmental Law practice.

Daniel J. Biederman, Sr. joined Momkus McCluskey, LLC to lead the firm’s Environmental Law Practice.  He will be working closely with James S. Harkness and Jennifer L. Friedland, who are attorneys in the firm’s commercial and environmental litigation practice. Mr. Biederman concentrates his practice in complex and sophisticated environmental law, covering industry sectors across the nation.  He regularly serves clients in all key areas of environmental law, which include due diligence, litigation, compliance, permitting, strategic planning, audit and civil and criminal enforcement proceedings.

Mr. Biederman resides in Downers Grove, and is the father of four children.  He spends much of his time in support of the Les Turner Foundation to fight Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease.”

In order to pursue his passion for this field, Schroeder left the firm he founded to join Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP, the largest law firm in the country focusing exclusively on family law.

The law firm of GoodSmith Gregg & Unruh LLP announced that commercial litigator Timothy B. Hardwicke has joined its partnership.

Hardwicke joins GGU from Latham & Watkins LLP, where he began his legal career 25 years ago and has served as a litigation partner for the past 17 years. “We are very excited about the addition of Tim to our litigation group,” said Ken GoodSmith. “Having worked with him before we left Latham, and seen the results he’s achieved for his clients since then, we think he is a tremendous addition to our firm.”

Hardwicke (49) received his J.D. with honors from The University of Chicago Law School in 1989 and his Bachelor of Political Science, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 1986.

Ms. Williamson, a partner, is a member of the firm’s Product Liability Practice Group. She focuses her practice on defending product liability claims, including those involving fire and explosion, product labeling and warnings, and other issues arising under the Consumer Product Safety Act.

Ms. Williamson handles premises liability litigation, and represents clients in connection with mass tort class action litigation, appellate litigation, arbitration, and mediation. She has worked on a variety of complex matters, including precedent-setting, multimillion-dollar personal injury, fire, and consumer class action cases.

A frequent contributor of articles on product liability defense to publications of the Defense Research Institute and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, Ms. Williamson received her juris doctorate at Loyola University Chicago School of Law (2006) and her bachelor of arts degree from Ohio University (2000).
